The hardware installation encompasses all aspects of managing the project. We liase with the customer providing check lists to ensure that their area of responsibility such as site, racks, power, air conditioning, carrier cabling are all in place for when the equipment arrives. We provide the early advice required for special installations such as ordering SS7 services or the setting up of secure internet access to the equipment. When the equipment arrives an IVSTEL engineer will manage the unpacking of the equipment and organise the installation into the racks and the connection of the power and the powering up of the equipment.

At this point any software upgrades or patches are applied to the generic equipment software and the application software, typically from IVSTEL, is loaded and configured. The next phase involves the configuration and testing of the telecommunication lines for either ISDN, SS7 or VOIP. SS7 sites will also require end to end interconnect testing to the Carriers specification. IVSTEL has successfully completed SS7 interconnect testing in many, many countries including Asia, Europe and North America,. And of course IVSTEL can provide formal training and insight into the administration
and operation of the system that has been installed. For more information please email info@ivstel.com. |
